Bethany Montalvo

Bethany Montalvo, from Modesto, California, started dancing at the age of 6 at the Juline School of Dance. She trained the next 12 years there working her way through the school, pre-professional division, and youth company, while also attending summers at the San Francisco Ballet School and Houston Ballet. Upon graduating high school, Bethany went on to major in Ballet Performance at the University of Oklahoma where she had the privilege of performing works by prestigious artists such as Jiří Kylián and Jerome Robbins as well as soloist roles in classical ballets such as The Sleeping Beauty. Bethany graduated in three years with a BFA in Ballet Performance and joined Nashville Ballet 2 for the next two seasons, performing corps de ballet roles with the company. She then went on to dance as an apprentice with the Twin Cities Ballet. Bethany is delighted to be joining Ohio Contemporary Ballet as a company member this season!
