Securities 401k or IRA
Tax-free transfers of 401K or IRA distributions may be made as outright gifts. Stock certificates may be reassigned directly to Ohio Contemporary Ballet or may be transferred through the donor’s broker. Contact Dr. Margaret Carlson at 216-397-3757 ext 4.
Stock Gift
Many people choose to contribute to Ohio Contemporary Ballet by transferring securities rather than making a direct contribution of cash. By choosing this method of giving, you will not pay any capital gains tax on your gift, and you may be able to claim a Federal income tax deduction based on the full fair market value of the securities on the effective date of your gift.
