Joseph Dang
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Joseph began his dance journey at the age of six at a local YMCA. Within a year he went to train at the Ballet Academy of Texas honing his skills and passion for ballet. During his senior year of high school, Joseph moved to Ohio to join BalletMet as a trainee on a full scholarship. While there, he had the honor of performing as the Principal in the Fourth Movement of Balanchine’s Western Symphony. Joseph went on to dance with SB2 with Sacramento Ballet during its inaugural year, where he danced for two seasons. In the company’s 70th season, he was promoted to apprentice and performed in a variety of productions, including Michael Pink’s Dracula, SacBallet’s The Nutcracker, and Young Soon Hue’s Romeo and Juliet. Joseph is excited to join Ohio Contemporary Ballet for its 2025-26 season!
