Julianna Marx
Julianna Marx, native to Vail, Arizona, began her training at Ballet Rincon at the age of three. She later continued her studies at the School of Ballet Tucson before becoming a trainee with Ballet Tucson. After high school, Julianna earned a BFA in Dance with an emphasis in Ballet and a Business Certificate from the University of South Florida where she performed in works by Andrew Carroll, Paula Nunez, Michael Foley, Merry Lynn Morris, and John Parks. During University, she was also a guest dancer with the Ballet Academy of St. Petersburg during their 2022-2023 season, performing principal roles in The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty. In summer 2024, she studied abroad in Paris, exploring techniques influenced by William Forsythe and choreography by Pina Bausch. Julianna also was an apprentice with Tampa City Ballet for their 2024-2025 season, performing soloist roles in The Nutcracker and ensemble roles in Paquita and La Séptima. She is thrilled to be joining Ohio Contemporary Ballet as an apprentice!
