Meet Stephanie Martinez

During the pandemic, Ohio Contemporary Ballet commissioned a new work by choreographer Stephanie Martinez. This work–World of Another–was created entirely through Zoom, and premiered through our live streamed performances, reaching audiences in 26 states and 5 countries. This must-see piece offers a poignant reflection on the importance of human connection. A vibrant blue coat is passed among the performers and when they receive it, we get a glimpse into their private lives. Don’t miss this piece that critics described as “pure gold”!
