Hunter Hoffman

Hunter Hoffman is a first generation Cuban-American born and raised in Miami, Florida where he trained at the Mencia Pikeiris School of Dance and New World School of the Arts. He continued his studies on scholarship receiving his B.F.A. in Dance Performance from Mercyhurst University. He has appeared in leading roles with Verb Ballets, Lake Erie Ballet, New World Connection, Ballet Concerto and The Mercyhurst Dancers. Hunter’s classical performance experience includes Raymonda Wedding, the Cavalier in The Nutcracker, and Benvolio in the Cleveland Havana Ballet Project’s Romeo and Juliet in Cuba staged by ballet icon Laura Alonso. An aspiring choreographer, Hunter presented his newest work Take Me With You as part of Verb Ballets’ Fresh Inventions. Hunter joined Verb Ballets as an apprentice in 2019 and was promoted to company dancer for the 21-22 season, and has danced in works by Stephanie Martinez, Christopher Huggins, and Heinz Poll.
