Phillip Shyonn Williams
Phillip Shyonn Williams, a Cleveland, Ohio native, began his dance journey at the age of 10, starting with hip-hop before receiving classical training at the Cleveland School of the Arts, where he graduated. He went on to serve as Rehearsal Director for the Greeneworks Project, setting dynamic works on renowned institutions such as Dayton Contemporary Dance Company II, Deeply Rooted Summer Intensive, and Stivers School for the Arts. His career then took him on tour with the Lula Washington Dance Theatre, further expanding his artistic reach. Committed to giving back to his community, Phillip returned home to teach at Tri C Creative Arts Academy, where he mentored and inspired young dancers for five years. Passionate about nurturing the next generation of artists, he continues to share his knowledge, creativity, and love for dance. Phillip is honored to be joining the company as dancer for the 2024-2025 season.
