Janice Rosario

Janice Rosario is a nationally recognized contemporary dance choreographer, educator, and activist. She came to the studio in January 2024 from New York to create a new work on the company. Her new work titled Seasons, explores themes of letting go, acceptance, and the quest for understanding, connecting the seasons with distinct emotional landscapes of ourselves. Set to Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Rosario transcends traditional ballet boundaries, presenting an abstract interpretation of the seasons as reflections of the human condition. Watch the video below for the the insight into the work and rehearsal process. Catch the premiere at the Emerging Choreographers Showcase on March 22 & 23, 2024.
