The AdVerb Project rekindles the love of dance for adults
A group comprised of adults has rekindled an appreciation of dance and wants to share their love of movement. An extension of Verb Ballets’ community dance program, The AdVerb Project is a performance ensemble comprised of adult learners.
The AdVerb Project will perform in the Cleveland Dance Fest 2017 presented by The Movement Project at the informal showing on November 11, 2017 at Pilgrim Church in Tremont at 4:15pm. The Adverb Project will be performing TPC1 choreographed by Richard Dickinson with costumes by Nan Wiggins. The showing is followed by a discussion panel with the audience. Tickets are $12 and available online through The Movement Project here.
The AdVerb Project developed from adult learners seeking to experience live perform. Lead by AdVerb Artistic Director, Richard Dickinson, the project offers ongoing workshops to learn choreography and performance technique. The ensemble performs throughout the year in-studio and senior living facilities.
The AdVerb Project is a stem of Verb Ballets outreach to bring kinesthetic learning and wellness through movement to the community. Verb Ballets’ senior movement outreach work is supported by The Ohio Arts Council.
