Ohio Contemporary Ballet Center

Witness an extraordinary blend of creativity and technical skill from rising choreographers and company dancers. Through the Fresh Inventions program, the dancers of Ohio Contemporary Ballet are encouraged to create an original work. Each year, there is a choreographic challenge presented to them. This year, the challenge is to take the music from an existing recognized dance work, and re-imagine it.

These performances are presented in the Ohio Contemporary Ballet Black Box Studio Theatre in Shaker Heights and provide an up-close opportunity to experience dance.
