Ohio Contemporary Ballet is pleased to announce the return to EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall with a performance Honoring Heinz Poll, on April 25, 2025! Heinz Poll was a visionary choreographer who founded the Ohio Ballet in 1974. His ballets have influenced dance around the world and they continue to resonate within the Akron community. The program will showcase a breathtaking panorama of his diverse choreographic style. In addition to his signature work Bolero, the program will feature the revival of two works unseen since his passing: Planes and Configurations, and Light Breeze.
